Principal Dr Ranjan Sarkar, presiding as chief guest, stressed the need to integrate technology with commerce education. “Theoretical knowledge alone is not enough. This course bridges the gap between academia and practical skills, making our students job-ready,” he said.
The certification course will cover fundamentals of computers, basics of accounting and financial management, and practical training in Tally for business transactions, GST, and payroll. Selected BBA and B.Com students will take part in interactive sessions, case studies, and assessments.
Faculty members called the initiative a game-changer for careers in finance, banking, and entrepreneurship. Students expressed excitement, saying Tally proficiency would give them an edge in placements.
